Life Lessons 🐾

It’s funny how much we can learn from our beloved pets and how our quality of life can be improved if we take tips from our dogs! Jax has taught me a lot over the past 9 years, but how can we actually incorporate a dogs’ life into our own?

The things I have learned from Jax:

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be the simple pleasures in life.

Get exercise every day and have a better mood for it!

Take naps.

Stretch before rising – down dog and cobra can do wonders.

Run, romp, and play all day – with a friend, even better!

Thrive on personal connections and touch.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

On warm days, stop to soak up the sun.

On hot days, drink lots of water.

When you are happy, dance around and wag your entire body!

Sharing is caring and that feels good!

Be loyal.

If  what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.

Bring others joy by simply being yourself.

Hope you incorporate some of these lessons!
